In 2015, RTEreported Hawk married his current wife, Cathy Goodman, in Limerick, Ireland. Goodman had been married to Hawk’s best friend, Matt Goodman, but the skateboarder did not start dating her until a year after they broke up. Hawk’s children have followed in his footsteps, although only one really made a go of it.
Lhoste Merriam learned back in December that her husband was running around with Cathy Goodman, wife of Tony’s best friend and business partner Matt Goodman. Being all close to each other means Cathy and the famous skateboarder met years ago and have been around in each others lives.
How long have Tony Hawk and Goodman been friends?
The surprising development will quell any rumours of a rift between Goodman and Hawk, 42, who have been best friends for more than 20 years. The men were so close that Goodman was a groomsman at all of Hawks’ three weddings. Parted ways: Tony Hawk and wife Lhotse at an awards event in Spain a year after they married.

Hawk is said to be worth $120million earned through his skating and hugely successful video game series. He is the best-known skater in the world and is credited with putting the sport on the map during the 1990s when he pioneered a daredevil form of skating called ‘vertical skating’.
